Gas finally dropped below $4 a gallon here. It is sad that we were so excited that gas was below $4 a gallon. I remember the summer before my senior year in high school going down the the tri-cities washington to visit my friend David and gas was only $.79 a gallon. What is the lowest gas price you remember paying?

The gas price I remember paying was in the fall of 1970 when I got my first car, a 1971 blue Pinto. I paid 31 cents for a gallon of gas.
